A LEGACY OF CRAFTSMANSHIP
Privateer Boats began its journey with a visionary named Warren Wilkerson in 1977. In 1989, after establishing a reputation for building exceptional boats, Warren sold Privateer Boats to the Radcliffe family. The Radcliffe family, passionate boaters and craftsmen themselves, were eager to carry on Warren's legacy of quality and craftsmanship.
Under the Radcliffe family's stewardship, Privateer Boats continued to thrive, combining Warren's foundational principles with new innovations and technologies.
In late 2023, the Radcliffe family endorsed Fabry Stroud, of Stroudcraft Marine, to continue the legacy. Terry Radcliffe is still working with us and is a wealth of knowledge for all our employees. Here at Stroudcraft we ensure that each boat is built to the highest standards and reflects the enduring values of the Privateer brand.
